Hello and Welcome to the Den!
We are Ashley and Chris Whitten, and we are excited for you to join us on our adventure!
Chris and I are currently in our third year of living in the airstream full-time.
A bit bout us:
I am a nurse by trade but currently do not work in the field. I have dabbled in a variety of fields, including childcare.
Chris served 20 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 2023. He loves whiskey and cooking, so be on the lookout for reviews and recipes.
We travel in a 1978 Airstream Sovereign that we will renovate this summer! Our home on wheels and the vehicle we tow with can be found on our FAQs page.
Chris and I travel with our seven-year-old cat Furgus. He adores the full-view windows and does a lot of neighborhood-watching from all of them. He is very spoiled and is very loved.
Chris and I are super excited about this adventure and all of the stuff we have planned.

We have a lot coming up this summer with the renovation starting in July. While we have no immediate plans (at least 2 more years) for a brick and sticks home, we are constantly looking for land in Wyoming for our homestead. The homestead is a dream of ours and is our end goal.
This blog is about our life in and out of the Airstream. We have a lot of content coming up as far as the outdoors goes. We love to hike, hunt, camp, and such so be sure to keep up to date on all our endeavors. We have a lot of hobbies between the two of us, so you will have a lot of content to watch and share.
